Must be open water certified.
Should have own Snorkeling System which would include mask, fins and snorkel, boots and gloves.
Must provide specialized equipment including primary and backup lights, compass and tide/current table.
Student needs to purchase the Deep Diving, Night/Limited Visibility and Navigation books.
In order to qualify for the Advanced Open Water Certification a student must attend all classroom and open water sessions, complete all required academic work, perform required skills and have logged a minimum of 24 open water dives. Dives done as part of the course count towards the total number of required dives.
Participant will also need to fill out a Medical Release Form and an Informed Consent Waiver/Release form.
